Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme to take over minibus routes No. 236, 242 and 246 on June 25
Rīgas satiksme informs that as of June 25 minibuses No. 236, 242 and 246 will run according to new schedules on workdays and holidays. The price of tickets on the above minibus routes will be LVL 0.50, which means that on route No. 246 it will be cut from LVL 0.60 down to LVL 0.50. Furthermore, e-tickets for a certain number of trips will be valid on the three above mentioned minibus routes.

At the same time, it should be emphasised that none of the discounts granted by Riga City Council will be effective in minibuses, and pupils, students, pensioners and disabled persons of group 3 will have to buy tickets at full price. The only exception is those passengers entitled to the discounts granted by the state. i.e. disabled persons of groups 1 and 2, disabled persons under the age of 18 years, as well as persons accompanying disabled persons of group 1 or disabled persons under the age of 18 years.
It’s planned that the remaining minibus routes will be gradually taken over in 2013.
